Also include foods rich in carotenoids (especially Lutein) and flavonoids--carrots, sweet potatoes, yellow squash, dried apricots, red peppers, beets, dark green leafy vegetables, dulse, cayenne pepper and tomatoes. Anti-oxident nutrients like Lutein, Lycopene, vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium, Grape seed extract are useful as well.
