Bioactive 5-MTHF Folate
Our One-Per-Day formula now contains 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), a form of folate that may be up to seven times more bioavailable than folic acid. This form of folate requires no conversion to become metabolically active, which is important as research shows that many people lack the robust activity of the enzyme that’s necessary to convert folic acid to 5-MTHF.
Mixed vitamin E tocopherols
Most commercial multivitamins provide only the alpha-tocopherol form of vitamin E, but there are four tocopherols. One-Per-Day provides all four. For biomarkers of oxidative stress, evidence shows that combining alpha- and gamma-tocopherols is better than taking either nutrient alone. Our formula provides more than 80 mg of mixed alpha, beta, delta and gamma tocopherols.
High-potency minerals, antioxidants and extracts

Alpha-lipoic acid—Alpha-lipoic acid is a potent defender against oxidative stress that promotes metabolic and nerve health and helps protect vitamin C and glutathione against damaging free radicals.
Selenium—Selenium supports heart and brain health, promotes a healthy inflammatory and immune response and helps quench free radical activity. Our One-Per-Day formula has three forms of selenium (200 mcg total): SelenoExcell®, Se-methyl L-selenocysteine and sodium selenite.

Individuals consuming more than 50 mcg (2000 IU)/day of vitamin D (from diet and supplements) should periodically obtain a serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D measurement. Vitamin D supplementation is not recommended for individuals with high blood calcium levels.
