Berberine + Chromium combines Berberine HCl with supportive minerals in a clean label formulation with no added excipients. Berberine begins its beneficial actions in the gut where it exerts positive effects on the microbiome. Other benefits observed with berberine relate to its action on AMPK (adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase). AMPK is a systemic enzyme that influences how the body creates and uses cellular energy. Its action has a cascading effect on a wide variety of metabolic processes.
