The Science
Healthy circulation is crucial for all of the body's systems, providing adequate oxygenation and nutrition to tissues and major organs. Nattokinase, produced from Natto, is an extract from Japanese fermented soy food that supports healthy veins, capillaries, and blood flow. Nattokinase and Serratiopeptidase are both fibrinolytic enzymes that break down fibrin in the blood. Fibrin is a protein by-product of blood coagulation caused by toxins, normal inflammation and injuries. The enzymes digest non-living tissue such as blood clots, and mucus.
Rutin is a bioflavonoid with high levels of antioxidant activity. It creates superoxide radicals, working to oxidize molecules and may also assist in maintaining levels of glutathione, a biological antioxidant found within all cells. Rutin works to reinforce the collagen structure of vein walls, working with fibrinolytic enzymes to strengthen and maintain vascular health.
