Selenium is an essential trace element that inhibits the oxidation of lipids (fat) and works synergistically with vitamin E to assist in the production of antibodies and maintain healthy liver, pancreas, thyroid, and heart function.† It also serves as an antioxidant by activating glutathione peroxidase, an antioxidant enzyme that protects cell membranes from free radicals.†
Seleno Met™ uses L-selenomethionine, a highly bioavailable, yeast-free form of organically bound selenium chelated with methionine to support glutathione activity.
Unlike inorganic forms of selenium, Seleno Met™ is not adversely affected by vitamin C.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement take one or two capsules daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Capsules may be pulled apart and nutrients taken separately.
