Product Description
N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) is a precursor to glutathione synthesis and also acts on its own to reduce the effects of reactive oxygen species. NAC has been shown by studies to have a supportive effect on the liver, due to its ability to support hepatic and mitochondrial levels of glutathione and by supporting the mitochondrial energy metabolism.*
Suggested Use
Adults: Take 1 capsule one to three times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Duration of use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
Warnings
Contains no: Preservatives, artificial flavor or color, sugar, dairy, starch, wheat, gluten, yeast, citrus or egg.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you suffer from asthma; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have cystinuria and if you are taking nitroglycerin or antibiotics.
Known adverse reactions: May cause allergic reaction: discontinue use and consult a health practitioner if symptoms of allergy, nausea or vomiting appear.
Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
